I receive numerous calls each day from this number, most of which go directly to phone mail. Twice I spoke to a person who said he was calling from a drug distribution company in WA, which I never heard of. He claimed he wanted to alert me that my pain meds and sudafed were being discontinued by the drug mfgr. I asked for a list of medications, none of which I've ever taken, including sudafed. When I questioned him, he hung up. This happened twice. I received another call today which went to phone mail. This time it was a woman'f voice on the recorder. This is ANNOYING!
I think what I will do and maybe all of us should do, is that the next time they call, ask politely for them to list the medications they sell, ask about strengths of pills, ask about pricing, ask if they take credit cards ask how many you can buy ask about shipping ask about a million things all while looking like you are about to place a nice size order, start giving them fake credit card info the start all over again, "I'm sorry how many pills can I buy again, of and did you say blah blah blah ,
Waste about 20 minutes of their time and then say F--k You. and hang up . I bet they red flag your number , at minimum you'll get some satisfaction
I've set this number up as a 'contact' on my cell phone and then in the individual ring options I've chosen 'silent' for this and a number of other similar tele-spammers. So far, so good. They keep calling, but I don't care. You can't fix stupid, but you can ignore it.
These people have called me at least 10 times or so over the last 6-8 months. I am not sure it is always the same number, but it is always the same thing, some online pharmacy or something wanting to sell viagra & other meds.
I've asked to be removed from their list each time - usually at this point yelling it at them - but of course it does no good.
