I receive numerous calls each day from this number, most of which go directly to phone mail. Twice I spoke to a person who said he was calling from a drug distribution company in WA, which I never heard of. He claimed he wanted to alert me that my pain meds and sudafed were being discontinued by the drug mfgr. I asked for a list of medications, none of which I've ever taken, including sudafed. When I questioned him, he hung up. This happened twice. I received another call today which went to phone mail. This time it was a woman'f voice on the recorder. This is ANNOYING!
I believe a pharmaceutical company from India sold your name to a telemarketer. There is no way to totally stop the calls-- they will just use a different number. If you have a modern cell phone, add this number to your contact list and set its ring tone to No Ring. After a month or so the software that is dialing you figures out nobody picks up and the calling stops. You get some rest. After a while, a new marketer will get a fresh list with your name on it and it starts up again from a new number.
The have called me multiple times daily asking for Mike. I pretend like I'm Mike and act interested for a while wasting they're time then tell them I'm not Mike. It's fun to make them mad at last. :)
