I receive numerous calls each day from this number, most of which go directly to phone mail. Twice I spoke to a person who said he was calling from a drug distribution company in WA, which I never heard of. He claimed he wanted to alert me that my pain meds and sudafed were being discontinued by the drug mfgr. I asked for a list of medications, none of which I've ever taken, including sudafed. When I questioned him, he hung up. This happened twice. I received another call today which went to phone mail. This time it was a woman'f voice on the recorder. This is ANNOYING!
I've been getting multiple calls per day on my cell from this number for about two weeks. Yesterday, the caller ramped up the contents of the call. He claimed to be from the FBI, and when that didn't work, he became verbally abusive and threatening. I called my cell provider and had the number blocked. The customer service rep at Verizon told me that the caller id number appearing on the phone is spoofed, but that they should be able to track it back and will provide the real source to my local police department if I choose to pursue the matter.
I've managed to get them to stop calling! Only took 3 months but here's how it went...
As soon as I picked up and could hear them on the other end, I let them know that I was recording the call (I'm wasn't but how are they to know that) and that I would like the number to opt out of their unsolicited calls as they are in violation of the law as I am on the Do Not Call List.
They stuck to the script as their bosses tell them to..."Hello, can I speak to..."
So again I said "Again, I am letting you know that I am recording this call, you are currently in violation of the law and I am requesting the number to opt out of your unsolicited calls. If you refuse to give me the number, you will again be in violation of the law..."
And that's when they hung up. Haven't heard a peep from them since :) I know they are aggressive when you try to talk back to them, that's why I spoke before they did and made it very clear that the call was being recorded. They really didn't seem to like that.
I been getting phone calls from this number for at least a year. Its some kind of online pharmacy trying to sell ED meds. I have told them to lose my number and they have now resorted to calling me names. This one guy with an Indian accent straight up started to insult me when I told him that he had the wrong number. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Maybe that's how they do business in their country but not in America I told him. I tried calling back the number on my ID but got no response. They need to be held accountable for their BS calls.
It's a bunch of [***] trying to sell meds. Call your cell phone company and have the number blocked. They change their number about once a year, so plan on doing it again down the road.
