My elderly parents received a call from this #, and my dad was told a sheriff would be at the house in 30 minutes to arrest him for unpaid federal taxes. Scared my parents to death!! Complete and total scam and bogus, per our local police department, who have gotten numerous reports about this. I am beyond furious! Is there not enough [***] in this world to deal with?!?! ENRAGED.
The number, "721-462-5617", is the telephone number that the Now Famous and Hilarious IRS Tax Scam originates from. They tell you to call back, "206-569-4739", to pay your IRS debt because, "the local sheriff will come to you and arrest you for money that you owe the IRS". Now come on! This is such crap. Please think first. . . . do you really think that the IRS will call you first on the telephone and then tell you that you can pay them with a debit card, (even though they are bloodsucking [***], they don't do this. . . . yet)!
