I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
This is ISIS! An American terrorist group! They try to be slick and trick Americans outta information and money! 9/10 times the caller is male, has an accent, rude as hell, and aggressive! Don't answer the phone and report them EVERY! SINGLE! TIME! THEY! CALL! TO THE FBI! DHS! CIA! Whoever just make sure it's on a authentic US Federal level.
I keep getting called from (206) 708-2849, as soon as I answer the call an automated voice just says "goodbye" and hangs up.
I believe the call is coming from a computer based phone service because sometimes the number comes up as 404203494853 which is obviously not a valid phone number, but the same automated voice just says "goodbye" and hangs up.
When I questioned the caller, he CURSED me out!!! F-bombs and all! 830am on a Saturday morning; he had a Middle Eastern accent. Said he was calling about my Windows system for my computer.
Keep them on the phone as long as possible. When they ask for personal information, give them fake info. It's fun and it makes them more frustrated than they have made you.
Call from this number on my CELL, just seconds after a call from 913-674-8956 came in. I didn't answer either one because I don't respond to numbers I don't recognize. No message left either time. Glad I checked in here & not at all surprised that they're both from scumbag scammers. Isn't it illegal to call cell phones? Why isn't something being done to stop this???
