I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
Got a call that they said they were with Microsoft and my computer had a virus and they could fix it. I said my computer was at Microsoft and they would have to look around Microsoft and see who had it. They hung up lol.
This number called my place of employment, and when told by management that the only person with a similar name as the one they were wanting to talk to was working and did not have a private extension to forward them to they threatened her by saying they were with Tennessee State Police and it was an emergency and that if she didn't let them speak to me she would be in trouble. This was NO police officer as they wanted a name I am familiar with (My ex-sister-in-laws name) and also the number they claim was my social was so far off the mark it wasn't even funny. They were phishing for my social security number and I wasn't about to give it to someone that sounded like a [***]. I am forwarding the phone number they called from along with what they did to the manager at my place of employment to the AG in the state of TN as well as the FTC and the FCC. Hope they catch this [***] for scaring my management.
