I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
I was called 12 times in an hour. I spoke to a man who admitted to be calling from India. I asked that the calls stop. He says he's calling from health and human services about a grant. I explained I wasn't going to college and didn't need a grant. Continued to argue with me and said he would call me back even after I asked that my number be removed. I hung up. Another man with an Indian accent called a couple of minutes later. Same offer for a grant. He had my address and phone number saying he would mail me some paperwork. He wanted me to verify the last four numbers of my SSN. I explained that I would not give that out to an unknown caller and I didn't appreciate all the calls from his company. He kept over talking me and I said "stop"... To which he kept talking. I asked him if he understood English, he became angry and called me an a$$hole. When I said "Excuse me, did you just call me and a$$hole?" He hung up.
I have been getting calls on my cell for days. I don 't pick up and when/ if I call back no one answers. I will report here and also contact the Do Not Call for Verizon.
I received a call this morning from this number. No message was left. I called the number back as I was expecting a call from someone from Seattle and thought this might be that person. That was before I saw others feedback regarding this number on this website. When I called back, I got a message stating that "all circuits were busy".
