I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
Received call from live person asking for the owner of the company by name.
I Said he wasnt available, but I could take a message. She said no thank you Ill try again.
Im sure its a scam of some sort, but Just wanted to say it wasnt a robocall.
It called me, my phone (with volume on, next to my hand in a silent room) and it someone triggered a "missed call" alert. I never saw the phone ring nor heard it.
Washington area code; that's the other side of the country and I know no one there.
Just received a call from this number. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number and was suspicious. I received these type of calls last month and investigated a little. I am going to follow the advice of MB and report this to the Federal Trade Commission. I'm also going to post this ALERT on to Facebook as well. I want to get the WARNING out there. I don't want anyone to get swindled by these criminals. I'm also going to save the # to my phone as CONMAN. Thank you all for sharing
