I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
This is the first time I've gotten a call from this number; however, I've gotten other calls from random numbers all having the same exact recorded message!!
Most likely a Robotic Call. A machine that just calls numbers in order of the digits. A sure sign of a Scam/Spam call for sure. My wife never gets any of these calls on her Verizon number, but I get one or more seems like every month. A mystery to both of us why she never gets them. Verizon will let you block this number for free for 90 days if you have Verizon. Don't call them back and don't answer their calls. I put them in my address book on my cell as SPAM and then the last 4 digits of their phone number and then put the Ringtone and Message Tone on SILENT or NONE.
I meant the last 4 digits of THEIR phone number in the message above this one. Sorry.
Another site had a poster who wrote that it was some kind of telemarketing call from a company the caller said was "National Assn. of Medical & Dental "
Received a call from this number at 5:53 p.m. Feb. 6th - did not answer and no message was left - do not recognize this number so must be spam or telemarketing call on automated computer calls, and I'm on the "no call" list for my cell phone with Verizon." I should not be receiving these calls at all if the "No call" system is working - that's supposed to be good for 5 years and I just renewed all my phone numbers on "No calls."
