When I got the call he said in a faint voice, Rebecca. I answered with yes, this is Rebecca. Then he said, a little louder, Rebecca and my last name. I answered, sceptically, yes. He went on to say, "by tomorrow morning we will be pressing criminal charges against you for the Pay Day Loan that you made with us on your debit card with Bank of America ending with the last 4 numbers 5515". I do bank with Bank of America, but I told him that I had never made a Pay Day Loan, ever. He said "are you trying to tell me that you don't even remember making this loan. Well you owe it and you need to get me that money right away." At that point, I began to question him, "Who are you", etc., but he would not give me any more information. He just got ugly and started talking harshly. I asked for a phone # to give my lawyer and he would be in touch with him and then I just said that I don't want to hear any more of this, and I hung up. I called Bank of America and they told me to file a report with the police department. The police department told me to look up Pay Day Loan scams on the internet and put in the phone # that they gave me. Here I am.
