Got a call this morning telling me to call back that there was an IRS lawsuit against me. When I called there was a man with a foreign accent telling me his name was Officer Rick Thomas, badge number GS 1412 and that I owed the IRS over $6000 and if I didn't pay right now he was going to send the police out to arrest me at my home of record today.

206-801-6708 claims to be IRS. Officer Rick Thomas, badge number GS 1412. they will call you on a peerless network with 360-949-1653. The stated that that this call is from DC and routes through Washington state. The IRS would not do that ever. Definitely a scam.
They are calling Colorado now with this scam and calling multiple times in one day. They do not even use the 800 # nor have they sent any certified letters which is what the IRS will normally do first in order to notify you, not a threatening phone call.
