Cell phone call claiming to be IRS and the IRS was preparing to sue me. S C A M...the IRS doesn't call, it sends a registered letter for any kind of tax issue. Disregard calls. I've received three calls in the last 24 hours. Harrasement
robo-call. Called back immediately and Asian-Indian guy identifies answers IRS and identifies me. When he said I have to send over $2K before receiving anything in writing I knew it was a scam. Just looked this # up and found this site. Have called IRS fraud line.
Received this call 10-15-15 answer machine did not record the whole call. Heard " is suing you please call 206-900-9172" When I called this number back I just got a busy signal or just static noise. I that is must be a prank call. :(
My call came from 206-900-9172. Electronic voice stating that they were from the IRS (Internal Revenue Services) and that I was going to be sued. Please note that the REAL IRS would not leave this type of message AND they do not have an S at the end of Service. If a taxpayer owed taxes to the U.S Government they would have first received written notification.
