Must be a new phone number they are using as I can't find this number online.
They are probably spoofing the IRS # to look legit. We get calls at our office all the time from a security alarm outfit. They harass us night and day because we can't block the numbers that show in our Caller ID because the numbers are spoofed and not the actual numbers they are calling from. Don't fall for it. These are SCAMMERS.

Called my cell phone and left this voicemail "Hello.This call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 206-488-7277 I repeat 206-488-7277, thank you." It sounded completely made up and not versed well through automated voice messaging system. When I called the number I received a female operator with a foreign accent speaking broken (butchered) English.
