When it's a local number like that I always think of potential burglars trying the numbers of homes they know match the number they're calling. Simply being unlisted used to be enough, but using data mining corporations, it's a piece of cake to match numbers with addresses. Can't wait for this new generation of data miners to be found outright aiding and abetting criminals, it's just a matter of time. Took law enforcement a while to catch up to the wardrivers (funny Wiki only mentions the WiFi not the much older cordless phone variant) and the legal system to criminalize wireless hacking...
