I just got done dealing with the police about this very same matter after i received a check in the amount of $1900.00. They took the check and the emails and i hope something will be done about this.

I received an email from this person in response to a craigslist ad. They also claimed to be speech impaired and wanted my phone number and address to stop by and view the item I was selling. Some red flags went up for some reason and I decided to search this number. Glad I did!
Same here - just got this response to our Craigslist ad and I felt the same way - something didn't feel right. Glad I searched it and I'm happy to share this to hopefully help the next person. This is definitely a spammer.
