Luckily i found this site before i confirmed. I was looking for an apt in NY, of course the deal was too good to be true. It's good i investigated:

I also replied to an advertisement and I got a mail back from

Wanda Burts [[email protected]]. "Phone": 347-995-3743

I was lucky to find his name at this website (and others). If the deal is too good to be true, something suspiciuos is going on!

Just wanted to update everyone that "Wanda Burts" is still operating on craigslist. We considered her apartment until the name came up on this site.

Wants $50 day plus 600 refundable deposit...... says the unit is on 10th floor....building has only 4 floors.  But did send me husband's phone (apparently in London) .  Gives you references to check. Did so both people are in Nigeria.......got their names and all.  Just finished helping a friend to track down her scammer (romance)  boy.......Nigeria again...... and uses male model pics from a Hawaii Model Agency.  They even spoke......alot of checking but we got HIM.

Hope others do not fall for this.......

i just lost AU$1214.00 to "jessica l sain" with promise of an apartment in nyc for way too cheap. she provided id to me online then sent an  email saying the money had been picked up, the address of the apartment checks out. i wish i searched the email address i dont know why i didnt
