This is Erica from US Builders Review. If you’d like to be taken off our do not call list, please email me at eberry (at) truelinepublishing (dot) com. We’d be happy to send you a print copy of our latest publication, as well, if you’d like!
I registered on the National Do not call list and for the last few days been getting a barrage of calls. This number is the only one that left a message in the last day or 2. (I stopped answering them). My guess is that they get the registry and call up to the 30 day cut off when it then becomes illegal. There was no actual message just noise and a hang up. Other unkniown callers include (324)903-6727, & (970) 589-4341.
Woman named "Karisa" called and said she was from "U.S. Builders "and that she was getting ready for a spring project" and was looking for "4-5 Top Contractors" in California. When I inquired about the location of her company she said they had two offices; one in Washington DC and the other in Portland, Maine. She asked if I had heard of her company before and I said I hadn't. She wanted information from me about my company, but I first asked her that I wanted to know more about US Builders first. It turns out that US Builders is nothing more than a publication. They are NOT a construction company. I told Karisa I was NOT interested and hung up.
My recommendation if you get a call.... don't waste your time!
I've worked with US Builders Review many times over the years with my ads in their publication, and we think it's a great construction trade journal. Maybe next time don't hang up and listen to what they have to say and you might learn about something that will benefit your company. They've been around for years and have a AAA Better Business rating.
So you say you've done business with them "many times over the years" and all of a sudden today you decide to look them up on a web site for people to report unknown numbers and scams? LOL.
My goodness, the stink of desperation is just oozing out of your boiler room onto 800 notes. Thanks for letting us know how tough this site is making it to run your scam!
