These people whomever they may be, just called my home 4 times in 3 minutes!! I don't know how they got my # but it certainly wasn't from me. I have never dealt with these people, so to blow my phone up with 4 calls in that short amount of time is very unprofessional and bordering on harassment. My friends and family don't even go to those length's! I'm very annoyed to say the least!!!
I have no idea who this number belongs to. They have never left a voicemail, but will call 3 to 4 times back to back. Today it was 3 calls in 2 minutes according to my call log. This is ridiculous, it's my cell phone they are blowing up, plus Im at work where I keep it on vibrate so my children can reach me anytime, and I shouldn't have to silence it completely because they can't call once and leave a voicemail like any other person trying to reach another person! Grr... they need their business shut down due to some serious Ethical violations and many others based on principal alone!
It's a persistent spammer, using a VoIP. He is (or they are) apparently intent on using every number in the 207-447-9XXX range. We're not sure what this dirtbag's particular spam is about, but we've already blocked a bunch of numbers in that series. The numbers are probably being spoofed.
Phone carriers are presently prohibited from blocking numbers, leaving it to the customers to do any blocking of unwanted calls, but the FCC is looking at allowing the carriers to block calls from any numbers that haven't been issued by the carrier who has that particular block. In other words, if it's not a "real" number that some customer has been issued, it shouldn't be "making calls."
