I just placed a couple ads on craigs list and I rec'd this a call from this number. The caller didn't leave a message on my answering machine. If you have ads on craigslist the wierdos will call you. I ive in Florida and this number was from carribou maine.
At around 7:25PM I received a call from 207 493 2650. It rang 3x's and then hung up. The number is registered in Caribou Maine. I have recently started posting resumes to job sites.
Yesterday, I received a call from 805 area code, I answered and they said wrong number and hung up. A couple of minutes after that I received a recorded call asking me to return the call and use the ref number they left me.
I did not return either calls and I have a phone system from ring central which allows me to block any calls I chose, pernanently.
I get the Same call It is a voice recording about how "you can erase your debts because there is new laws that can erase your debt " then asks to stay on line for more info. Then a man answers the phone says hello and asks "Would you like more info?" I said yes then he hung up?
I only said yes because i kept getting the call everyday so I was like what the heck I will see what these people have to say. This not only happened to me once with the SAME MALE VOICE hanging up on me it happened three times. Mind you these were all separate days. the third day When he asked if i wanted more info I asked" why do you guys always hang up?" The same guy said "WHY do you always hang up?" then he hung up on me. WTF?
i just thought it was weird. That same day they called back later and when they answered I decided to [***] with THEM. I said "hey baby how you doin?" then the guy said hello and i proceeded to talk dirty to him and he put me on the line with another guy being that SAME VOICE and he asked if I wanted more info and i just hung up on them Those damn [***]!
I got a lot of calls from them, I ignored it a few times but they just kept calling so I answered and they didn't answer. I called my husband to see if he knew where the 207 area code was. He said he'd been trying to call me for about an hour. I had not received any call from him. I wondered if perhaps this number started showing up on caller id when my husband called. I can't imagine how or why that happened. It was annoying.
I got a call from this # yesterday 6/7/11 I did not answer becz i did not recognize; however the gal who called; did leave a msg. stating she had spoken to me last wk; regarding lowering my interest rate.....i deleted the msg there; becz i dont have any debt or own a home plus i know i did not spk to her last wk ; so this telemarketing scammer is also a LIAR..........
