I just placed a couple ads on craigs list and I rec'd this a call from this number. The caller didn't leave a message on my answering machine. If you have ads on craigslist the wierdos will call you. I ive in Florida and this number was from carribou maine.
I installed a link to my computer that has a list of all the calls I make or answer. I press the 2 button three times when I answer the phone from a person I want to save when I am ready to hangup. the program stores that number. all other calls are answered an the program has a five second space before it using my voice will say ok but wait let me check, <next answer> I will have to look <next answer> I am sorry could you please repeat that for me, <next answer> I see, can you hold on for just a second or two, <next answer> I am interested but could I check with the wife to see if it is ok. <next answer> is there anyway I can call you back later, or could you give me an email address please. <next answer> could you repeat that please, <next answer> ok I think that I have it, (then the program playes back their message over and over for up to an hour.) I like my program
Report them every time - every number they use, keep reporting them! It is the only way that the FCC and the do-not call registry can persue them. Let's all work together to get this BS stoped. (I think my number was obtained from Craigs List when I listed items for sale). Here are the web addresses:

got a call from these jerkoffs....I dont give out my number and I screen all of my calls. This is the 2nd time this week I am getting calls that I dont recognize. The first was 406-219-2070...wonder if they are related.
