These people called my elderly parents house looking for me. I'm sure it was a telemarketer but they have no right to be calling my parents house. They are close to 90 years old and don't need to be bothered.
I have received at least 10 phone calls from these people. They wanted to sell me a motorized wheelchair. They asked for my DOB, which I promptly gave them my deceased mother-in-law's birthday, and asked me what medical carrier I had, which I promptly answered "medicare and medicaid" (lies) to make them breathe harder. Long story short, I have misguided them in hopes of trapping them. Try it, you'll like it and look forward to another call.
foreign speaking woman, claims to be from a LifeAlert company. could not even understand her. asked not to be called again, although this number has been showing up on my caller ID for weeks with no message on my machine, so I am sure it is a scam. Next time I will ask to speak to a rep in the USA and then hopefully I can get myself removed from their list. In the meantime, I am registering a complaint with DONOTCALL.gov as well since my number is on their list.
When I answered and said "Hello", there was a woman's voice (Not a recording) said "Hello" and I said "Hello" again, there was a protracted silence on the other end and a click as the phone was hung up.
just got the call too.....it was a ladies voice.....usually when a telemarketer calls they say your first and last name but she only said my first name....lol i told her that i wasnt home at the moment and she didnt even leave a message or anything....weird......
