I rec'd a call from this number on my cell phone yesterday during lunch. Since I didn't recognize it, I let it go to voice mail, but no message was left.
I called from another phone inside our company's pbx system and received a recorded message saying if I wanted to be removed from their call list, press 1. I didn't press any keys and after a few seconds of silence, was disconnected. No mention of what type of business they were, or products they offered. Where did the reference to an alarm company come from?
recorded message about an alarm company, starting: "The FBI reports home break-ins are on the rise. We will be in your neighborhood conducting security inspections..... " Offering to provide alarm services.
Didn't answer because I didn't recognized the number.
Called back and got the message: "Thank you for calling, if you want to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1 now..." then hung up.
