I got a text from this number. It had the last four digits of my social security number, my name and was asking me to reply yes or no. The information was that I had been approved for an auto loan I never took out.
I too, have recieved the same messgae in ref. to an auto loan.... which btw i have not applied for.. rather than having the last 3 or 4 of my social, they have the last 3 or 4 numbers of my checking account. I am reporting this to my bank asap.. deleting it from my phone too.
I wanted to add that they typed soc# following that the numbers to my checking.. This is exactly how one's identity can get stolen and destroyed. Do becareful.
