I get calls daily that I don't recognize and while they are on the screen I google the number. It's the same scam coming from local as well as other area codes. When I don't see a VM from someone from that number I add it to my auto reject list.
I've gotten multiple phone calls from this number and I downloaded an App called TrueCaller on my phone and it is a miracle app. It will point out to you if a number is a scam and tell you how many people have reported it as a scam number. You can auto block the number on the app and it will just block the call everytime. I would recommend getting the app because it has saved me a lot of time and frustration with scam calls because I get them everyday.
