I get calls from this number and from 208-416-5481 they do not tell me who they are or provide any information regarding what they say I owe. They only thing they want is my credit card number and my place of business. Today they called my daughter and my son-in-law in Seattle, and my sister in Wisconsin. These people put the fear into my family, crossed the line now. When my sister asked them how they got her number, they refused to answer. I am pretty sure that this practice is in violation of the law. How do we get them to stop. I will pay debt if proof is provided but they refuse. Told me that I would get the proof after I paid the debt off or went to court. Take me to court, if I owe it, I will pay a judge. I never answer their calls, I save all their voice mails. I have voice mails from last year that were actual threats. Today I am calling the Attorney General in Idaho and filing a formal complaint, this has to stop.
CBI harassing about some debt that was discharged through my brankruptcy. Had attorney call and notify them and now I have a different person from the same company calling about same debt (and first it was a "different" debt until i demanded moreand telling me they have no idea about any bankruptcy discharge. Bill was $200 and every time I have to talk to my bankruptcy attorney I get charged. A bunch of scammers and I guess the only way to stop it is to proceed with the next legal action. I have no debt since my bankruptcy so I knew what they were saying was not correct. So double check any information they tell you and question everything.
I live in an apartment that includes cable...but this is a collection agency for Cable One in Idaho. I do not owe them any money. They are persistent and annoying. They do not listen when you tell them you are not who they are looking for! I just put them on my "blocked call" list, but they still leave a voicemail.
