The phone number (208)736-4713 appeared in my caller ID. The caller said she was from "Consumer Services" and was offering to lower my credit card interest rate. Looking up that number it is actually assigned to the Idaho State Insurance Department of Twin Falls, but when you try to call it back you get the message that the call can not be completed as dialed. These lowlifes are actually spoofing an Idaho state government number. Blocked 'em even before I did any investigating.
Found the same information as "NAS" above. However, if you cannot call the number back, either the office in Twin Falls has been closed or this is an outbound only number for that office. Outbound only numbers will always display the inbound office number on caller ID so this is clearly illegal spoofing of the number by the credit card interest rate reduction crime syndicate.
As long as you are not receiving sales calls from all the real estate agents, insurance agents, travel agencies, photo studios, etc local to you, it is working very well and as designed.
