Call starts off asking if I have a favorable opinion of Obama. Supposedly a survey, but really a political push poll, and on a do-not-call-listed number. Have reported to the FCC http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/#howtocomplain
I AM DISGUSTED WITH"ALL" THESE UNWANTED PHONE CALLS...IT IS TO THE POINT A PERSON IS HASSLED CONSTaNTLY WITH THIS. CAN NOT EVEN ENJOY HAVING A HOME PHONE!! I DO NOT ANSWER ANY 800#'s or OUT OF AREA #'s not recognized. THERE IS STILL HARRASEMENT DUE TO THE INTERUPTION OF WHATEVER A PERSON MIGHT BE DOING...TO CHECK THE PHONE.
My son is very ill in Idaho, so when I see a 208 area code, my heart jumps...no one talked and I just heard a dial tone...really worried me...my husband and I tried to get ahold of my son and couldn't, finally I looked this number up on internet...shame on these people!
Recording of Michael Reagan taking a "brief survey". Calls here every other day. Phone machine screens it. Annoying. Seems like they are trolling for a 'yes' in order to do who-knows-what with it. Like publish some laughable survey results indicating a majority of people contacted say 'yes' during a poll regarding Sarah Palin for president.
Could be. But my suspicion, considering the multitude of call types apparently coming from this number -- which may well be fake -- and the varied associated caller ID names is that whoever is responsible is not really poltically motivated, but scam motivated. It's hard to say if Michael Reagan is aware of or condones the use of that recording by whoever this is. I found contact information for Reagan at www.reagan.com and will ask if I get time. Don't know if there will be a response, of course.
