These people above all should know what "Do Not Call List" is. What part of this do they not UNDERSTAND??? Guess that is what you get from Politicians!!! LOL
Not all solicitation calls are covered by the Do Not Call Registry. It depends on the type of call being made.
You can still be contacted by:
•Charities
•Survey researchers
•Political campaigns
•Companies with which you have a business relationship
•Companies to which you have given written consent to remain on their calling list.
Answered the call. It's a recording that claims to do a survey about your utilities. Called from Idaho to question Kentucky utilities. Sounds like a precursor to telemarketers.
I got the call today - I'm in Southeast Texas, and I played the little game with him. It's an automated message that only advances with questions with your responses of YES, NO, or REPEAT.
the FIRST question I was asked (verbatim) "With the continuing efforts to seek a good public health plan with Barack Obama, in matters of abortion, are you pro-life or pro-choice?"
my response was - "what does abortion have to do with public health care? that should be an insurance matter and a personal decision."
they then hung up...no second question was asked to me.
