sending false information regarding a home rental in Stamford, CT and they want me to fill out a rental form, online, and send it to them. It is obviously an identity theft, but it bothers me because my children, who are excited to move back home to CTM< found the home and now I have to let them down. This is what I received:

Please note that your rent starts counting from move in date so you need not to worry about making the deposit payment now and not moving in immediately because all you're doing is securing the house in your favor in order not to loose it to other interested applicants.

How do you know if it is a scam me and my family is going to CT to go seethe home soon .. im scared to go just because all the scarey stories you hear on the news regarding craigslist.. i mean i actually spoke to a guy todaywho claims to be this anthony ?? Idk what to do ....
