I also got FALSE EMAIL with this phone number 209-201-0158 from an inquiry I made about a home on CRAIGSLIST LONG ISLAND NY in Southampton, NY. As you can see this is the same SCAM ARTIST as noted above. They also included this email address:

Be careful people. We are living in desperate times and people are coming up with all kinds of scams to get our hard earned money.
My red flag was the rental was about 5000 dollars too little for the home *Luis Batista was advertising.
I simply took the address and checked on www.trulia.com and realized the rental was much more money. Also check the spelling. Most of the thieves are not great spellers and do not write English well.
BE AWARE and don't meet anyone or send any money unless you know what you are getting.
Don't be a VICTIM to these thieves. Be alert. Save yourselves the anguish these robbers can bring you.
