Phone rings, no message, no one speaks.  If you dial it back it is some sort of message about marketing.  I suspect they are fishing for active phone numbers.

(209) 217-3574 Live call recorded 13 November 2014 ("Harriet & Paul with Gentech Rx...topical pain cream offer" TELEMARKETER)
Caller ID: "Jackson CA"

"Harriet" calling from the "Pain Relief Center" to screen me to see if I qualify for their custom mixed topical pain cream. Once I qualified she put me through to her "associate", Paul.

Paul then claimed to be from "Gentech Rx" (not the Pain Relief Center mentioned earlier by Harriet) and questioned me about my pain, allergies to medication, and thinking he was going to make a sale, to get my insurace information. This is where he made his mistake and I kept him holding a silent line for 5 minutes.

All together, I wasted over 12 minutes of their telemarketing time.

Here is a transcript of this "topical pain relief cream" their screening and sales call (all fake name, address, birthdate  and information thanks to FakeNameGenerator.com):

[me:] Hello? (electronic 'splash' sound heard)
[they:] Hi, this is Harriet from the Pain Relief Center. I'm calling up on a notice we recently sent you regarding pain that you may be experiencing.

[me:] Ah, yes.
[they:] Were you aware with recent changes in health care that you may now qualify to receive a topical pain cream specifically formulated from 100% FDA approved ingredients at little or no cost to you. Let me just ask you a couple of quick questions to see if you qualify.

[me:] Alright.
[they:] Are you currently suffering from any aches and pains.

[me:] Yes.
[they:] Are you under the age of 65?

[me:] Did you say under or over?
[they:] Are you under the age of 65?

[me:] Yes.
[they:] And you do have private insurance. Correct?

[me:] Correct.
[they:] Do you currently have Medicare, Medicaid or state disability insurance?

[me:] Uh, no, I can't get that until I'm 63 or 65.
[they:] It looks like you qualify. Let me transfer you over to a representative who's going to go over some basic information with you, ok?

[me:] Alright.
[they:] (electronic 'splash' sound heard followed by electronic ring) Hold on  they'll be with you shortly. (piano hold music plays) "Thank you for calling Gen..." [abrupt cut off] I'm [unintelligible] Hi this is Paul with Gentech Rx, how are you doing today?

[me:] Uh, just fine thank you.
[they:] Well good, good, now it looks like you were speaking with my associate about our compound pain cream. Now what kind of pain are you experiencing that we can help you out with today.

[me:] I have joint pain in my knees and my elbows sometimes, but mostly my knee.
[they:] Ok. And, uh, constant or just kind of come and go?

[me:] Uh, I guess it comes and goes.
[they:] Yeah. That's pretty common with pain and we got something that can help out with. We specialize here at Gentech Rx with uh custom made compound pain creams uh we make for each individual and their pain um so we give people qualified for little to no cost prescription of those compound pain creams uh so that you can get relief. Uh, it's a pretty easy process too. Uh we'll just get you over to our doctor's assistant and they speak to you about your allergies and the type of pain you're dealing with then our doctors would recommend a specific formula from the cream that's made to treat your exact ailment. Um, so they use all FDA approved ingredients um and it's really why they have such a high effectiveness rate 'cause they're really made to treat your exact problems and you can just apply the cream right to the area where you're having pain to get almost immediate relief. Um, it's covered by most insurance providers, so we'll actually send the cream directly to your home. It's usually a very quick process, most people have their cream in less than a week, so all I need to do is get some uh general information from you and I can get you over to our doctor's assistant.

[me:] Alright. Are these prescription or non prescription?
[they:] Uh these would be prescription, prescription only.

[me:] Alright 'cause I don't have a prescription for pain creams.
[they:] Uh, we our doctors can write you a prescription as long as you have as long as your health insurance covers prescriptions we should be able to help you out.

[me:] Oh, I see, I see.
[they:] Yeah, so it would go through your drug prescription coverage.

[me:] Alright.
[they:] Now is the number we called you on the best one for you?

I received a call from this number on 13 Nov 2014 from a man telling me he was calling me about some topical pain cream prescription , I thought he was from my insurance company because my Dr had sent in a prescription to my insurance for this medication and my insurance company had called me and told me it was not covered under my plan and it would cost me $360.00 for a 30 day supply. He told me I could get it for little or no cost and he could also get me on Medicaid which I know was BS because I in no way am eligible for medicaid !!  This phone conversation went on for 32 minutes ! He then told me he was transfering me over to the Dr. As she and I talked I could hear a slight beep about every 5 seconds so I knew she was recording our conversation. I still thought I was talking to my BCBS insurance company until she told me I could get the prescription for 90% off. I had told he that my insurance company had already contacted me and told me it was not covered under my plan and it would be $360.00 for a 30 day supply and I told them not to fill it. Then she told me she was going to send over all my info to BCBS and I would only have to pay 10% of the $360.00. At that time I finally figured out it was NOT my insurance company and I told her my insurance company had already called me and told me it was not covered under my plan. I told her I knew she was recording our conversation and she better destroy everything I had said to her and also all my info I had gave them !! It didnt take her but 5 seconds to say "ok, thank you". I know now at this point all she was wanting was my credit card information !!! Im so glad I caught on that this was a SCAM !! Im sure if I had gave her my credit card information I would have had to cancel all my cards. So if anyone gets a call from 209-217-3574 PLEASE be very very cautious !! All they want is your credit card number. I called this number back and all I got was a recording that said " IF YOU WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM OUR DO NOT CALL LIST PRESS 1 " So this is a SCAMMER after all your info. I then called my insurance company and told them all about this call and they noted in my file all about it and they would monitor my account for any fraud claims . Just wanted to pass this information on so everybody could be on alert if they received a call from this number. These people are SCAMMERS !!!
