Called about 'pain cream?' Are there people so gullible as to fall for this sort of nonsense??? if, people would stop buying trash from these peddlers of nonsense, they would go out of business, but, I guess there are people who will give a credit card number for a tube of who knows what, they are sad, and, these peddlers are scum, just like the whole 209 area.
Called our DNC registered landline on 11/11/2014 @ 04:22 PM from Jackson, CA. Caller ID shows (209) 217-3574. No message was left.
I *67'ed the number. There's a generic recording I've heard from other telemarketers about pressing 1 to be remove from their promotions list. No company name is mentioned. Don't press 1 as it validates your phone number. They will continue to call you and sell your number off to others.
I have Blacklisted this number. If this number calls again it will be registered to Caller ID history, but the phone will never ring.
It's not necessary to press 1 to validate your telephone number to that company, just by calling their number you've validated your number as working, and you prove that you listen and comprehend English, and by YOU calling THEM, you just created a legal basis for them to continue to call you with their spammy telemarketing calls.
Got call from 'Unknown Name' and there was a live voice on the other end. This was for a pain relief, non-narcotic' cream that I could get for free. When I asked who the pain medication was for she couldn't answer. How would she know if anyone in my household required pain medication? When I said not interested, she kept talking saying she respected my privacy..blah, blah. I finally told her not interested and hung up.
