Just picked up my messages and this supposedly was from the irs. They were filing a lawsuit. Is was for back taxes.
The call came from 607 7670057. But the number to back was 2092436009. SCAMMMMMMMM.
I received a call from (817) 649-9068 stating the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me and to call the (209) number in order to resolve the claims against me. They are a Verizon Wireless customer.
Received automated call with a calm woman's voice identifying that this was their final attempt to reach me from the IRS (Internal revenue Service). IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call back at 209-243-6009. Note, the call came from northern LA 818-239-1445. This was fishy from the start that it was an attempt to SCAM but it raised my heart beat right off.
I knew IRS would not contact you with a final voicemail notification so I calmed down and decided to check out whether others were receiving similar. Annoyed and irritated.
Just got this today right after I filed my taxes! pretty scary until I checked here. 209-243-6009. When i called it got just a voice to leave message. Seems bogus from i see below.
