Sorry, forgot to mention that the use all kinds of excuses....this is workers comp, this is a government grant, this is so-and-so legal team with unclaimed money for you...blah blah blah. It's all about getting you to send them a few hundred so that they can release your thousands. It's a big dumb lie.
They claimed to be with Workers Compensaition Appeals Board (WCAB and Department of Health and Humans Services Ref recieving 100.000 cash. They did not can call me and I did not call them, But they used my facebook page.
I was on my facebook page and a friend request popped up from someone that I was already friends with.

I got this same request through fb, through my friend/cousin & I was already friends with her..she sent instant message really fast, not like her & everything you said above...scam!
Last night I received a friend request from a long time friend. I do believe I was scammed by him. Didn't send any money, but did answer questions. My email now floating out in scam world. Going to change that. Should have known better.
First I get a request to friend a woman I had already friended in Facebook. I assumed she had accidentally deleted me so I friended her again. I'm 80 and my friend is the same age.
Not long after I friended her again, I'm in facebook and she messages me in the chat window which she NEVER does. She used the EXACT SAME dialogue as the man (Willie Reynolds) about wrote here in this post. The words she typed were exactly the same. No personal questions about my family or anything soooooo that was a tipoff. There were also words used that sounded like it was from someone who didn't know English very well... another RED flag.
I was suspicious so while I was still connected in chat in Facebook with this woman, I did a search online for that site and lo and behold up pops this site (the one I'm writing this post in). I clicked on the link and confirmed my suspicion. I had received a phone call just this morning from that same phone number, but I NEVER answer calls from unknown callers so they didn't reach me and they never will.
I flipped back to the chat screen and told whoever it was (it couldn't have been my friend) that I knew it was a scam and that I hope they burn in hell for scamming people and stealing money from trusting unsuspecting people. I know they don't care, but I had to say it anyway.
I've unfriended the name.
I hope someone has reported this to the WCAB and the FBI Internet fraud and Facebook. Just in case no one has, I'm going to.
Be ever vigilant.... they're out there just waiting to steal from whoever they can any way they can.
I learned a valuable lesson, Do NOT friend someone unless you're absolutely sure they are who they say they are. This is happening a LOT these days in both Facebook and Twitter.
