I too received a call from phone number 209-676-8870 that played a message saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit and to call this number. Yeah, no. I'd expect some kind of letter in the mail if that were the case.
Got a call from 630-582-0473: let a message on the answering machine claiming to be an IRS agent and the the IRS has lawsuit against me and asked me to call 209-6768870 for more information.
Thank you! I got a call from this number also - at 6:00 a.m. - and I'm in the middle of moving, having just lost my job. Put me in a panic, but soon figured out it wasn't legitimate. Do you know who I should report it to?
