Call left on answering machine. Sounded very official--but knew immediately it was not. So generic. Don't know what they are trying to accomplish except maybe to find "working numbers" to sell to someone else.
Fake scammer. Called them multiple times to mess with them. I hate scammers and will waste as much as their time as I can so they don't actually find a victim. They pretend they are the IRS give a cliche American name each time and claim to be in Washington DC. Ask them any questions about USA and they will hang up on you. They state you owe $4000 and up. If you don't pay it they will throw you in jail or sue you. They have tried asking for my address, money grams, and bank information. After wasting their time roughly 15 times every time I call now they just hang up or start swearing. Think they finally figured it out. From my 15 calls I gather there are only a few people. I kept getting the fake Jessica Jacobs lady and some other prick. When you call and it's busy just keep trying eventually you get through if you also wish to mess with them.
Got called by this number, called them back and got the same IRS lawsuit scam as the rest of the folks in this thread. Laughed at "Officer Jack Davis" once he finished his script, to which he said the police were coming to get me. I told him to please go ahead and send them, and that in fact I'd call them myself right after to report his fake call. That quickly ended the conversation. Police report subsequently filed.
