Just got a call from this no. and it was a man with a Middle Eastern accent and said his name was Marcus (couldn't catch the last name). He stated that the very minute I received this message i was to call or have my attorney of record call his office because there was some kind of lawsuit against my social security no. and if I didn't call him back then the only thing he could do is wish me good luck. I have gotten these calls for the last 2 years every couple of months or so on my cell phone and my work no. I have no idea who they are but it's always a heavy Middle Eastern accent and can hardly understand half of what they say but it's pretty much the same message and they have called from at least 4 different telephone numbers.
I got a call from this number as well from a gentleman with a very thick middle eastern or Indian accent. He said exact statement to me. I did not call him back. He did not say what it is in reference to but that if I didn't call back the only thing he could wish me was good luck. It was rather threatening. I don't not have a loan of any kind and I have never gotten a call like this. I have no clue what to do. Some advice would be appreciated.
I have received the same call from the same guy with the same exact message, when I asked him for the number he said why do you need to talk to them you can talk to me I have your account and I said if they are saying I owe them anything I need to speak with them and not you and he said just have your 5000 and hung up. I called back and the idiot was like yes is this such and such and trying to verify my ssn, when I told him this was a scam and that I never took out a loan with them and I would YES LIKE TO SEE THEM TAKE ME TO COURT and to bring the proof he hung up again.
I got a call from 209-780-4537, one guy said his name was Neil, then he puts me on hold , and I can hear him saying the same thing to ther other caller. He tells me that I need to get a good attorney because a lawsuit has ben filed against me for a payday loan that I never bothered to pay back. I explained to him I have never gotten a payday loan. Then this other man gets on the phone and tell me he is the attorney that was hired to sue me. I asked again if he was a legitimate attorney, he very rudely replied that yes he was. I asked what his bar # was, he replied with my bar # is your phone number, then he hung up on me....LOL!!!
I JUST got this call...I asked them why I was not served. They said I have been sent emails. I told the guy ("Neil Watson") that I am a paralegal and you cannot serve someone by email.
What wackos!!!!
