I agree. We bought a Panasonic cordless system that blocks 250 numbers. Works great, took care of this number and so many others, especially the stupid political calls. Couldn't live without it, and no one should. We sure can rely on the donotcall.gov working for us.
Best investment I ever made. The phone company and government could do it too. They are just too lazy and stupid to do so. DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IS S SCAM. THEY PROBXBLY SELL OUR NUMBETS TO THESE GUYS
I bought the same Panasonic system and it was the best $100 I spent.
Do not call does not prevent scammers from calling you. It does not block your number. It provides a list of numbers registered to LEGITIMATE companies who can get hit with increasing fines for violating the list.
Best thing to do is file a complaint with the FTC consumer complaint division 877-382-4357. You will get a reference number for your complaint and can then call and report any new numbers these scammers use.since the end of Sept I have reported a dozen different numbers. The more people who file complaints the quicker they can get these pond scum shut down
