"PhoneTray Free" is in use on my whole family's 'puters. It works great in handling these annoying calls the way WE decide. We have over 425 # on the $hit Li$t at last count. The new offering from TraySoft is NOT a freebie however. Our version (v 1.39) was free and may still be available somewhere on the internet. The program does require a Data/Fax/VOICE(!) modem in your 'puter to work properly. Good luck to all you Telemarketer hunters. Go Get 'em! .... and keep the rest of us posted on your success!
caller id "Jamestown CA". Typical scammer, no message. I shut the answering machine off while home and use caller id to see if I want to answer. This way they don't get the idea somone is at the number (because there's an answering machine answering) and they may be less inclined to call back later. Hey.... I can dream can't I?!?!
