Same thing. Got call from this number from "Windows Technical Support". Asked for number to call them back and same guy answered phone so I hung up. Even an Eastern Indian sounding gentleman to make it sound real.
this came up as unknown etc - I asked him for his number as he was saying he was from microsoft and my computer is infected with a virus - he gave me 209-813-4020.
I asked him to take me off his list for any future contact, sounded like a scam and I could hear the call center floor in the background. I have spoken with many microsoft techs in the past and NEVER hear the call center - AVOID these people
I received a call from these people much like the other post. When I informed them that I knew they were a scam the man got combative and told me to shut up over 15 times. I informed him that I would be promptly reporting them to the proper authorities and that I was on the Do Not Call registry he hung up on me.
