Ronald J Smith is a con artist and he is very dangerous to be around. He pretends to be a lot of people, so you should be very careful. He can talk a good game and that's the scary part about it.
He is also found under s30pr; ron J smith; fashion producer
I just received a call today from Ronald Smith with US Customs says he's working on a narcotics investigation that I'm involved with HA!! Several months ago I also got calls very similar stating that I needed to wire $2,500 immediately or I would be arrested. I had a man answer the next call from the so called customs agent and when he started asking the so called agent questions, the agent became belligerent and told my friend to f__k off. Now would a real customs agent say something like that, I think not. So I just quit answering the calls and finally he gave up. The number they are calling me from now is 209-846-1243.
I received a voice mail on my home number with the same message regarding that I must call Ron Smith ASAP regarding an on-going investigation. I called the FBI here in Albuquerque, NM for them to check it out...The FBI informed me that the numberhe above is disconnected. So it is a huge scam..and very dangerous ..especially since I live alone. This needs to hit the news! I did my part by contacting the FBI..so let's spread the word!
I just spoke to special agent Ronald Smith. He told me he was from the US Customs Dept. And Border Protection, Narcotics Unit Division. He gave me his badge number, N33419, and the case number. I was to wire $3500. in cash, to the Dominican Republic within one hour. If I did not choose to do this, I would be extradited to the Dominican Republic and face up to 15 years in prison. Supposedly, there were two Federal Marshals, 5 minutes from my house, that had an arrest warrant and a search warrant. They would take me into custody, immediately. I was given two phone numbers. The first was, (415)251-3120, a San Francisco area code. The second was, (619)752-9492, a San Diego area code. These scam artist are good, but DO NOT be fooled by their scare tactics. They are obviously using many different phone numbers, and names.
