claims to be a Louisiana State Tax agency, claim to be a state agency

I call La Dept of Rev & Tax, they say it is an outside collection agency in Calif. they use. Never the less, they should not say they are a State agency. It is fraud. They should at least say they are calling on behalf of the state or something not claim they are a State agency. There are laws agains this behaviour.

The number on caller ID was 209 858-3982.  Contacted my home asking questions about my name and past residences.  I returned their call and was greeted very nicely until I asked who and where they were.  They answer the phone with Louisana Tax Amnesty program id.

The called my home phone and when I gave them the number they said... O no its not in our system, we never called that number... who are you really.....  Yea right.... would love to get a copy of their phone records.. The manager identified himself as Kelly Tillery...  Asked for my social security number.  He would not give me his.  I refused to give him mine so he hung up on me.

Rude and unprofessional.  Would love to file a complaint about this.  But to who?

PS--Diversified Collection Agency is a third party collection agency...and they are breaking the law by misrepresenting themselves as a government agency.
