Rebo caller. IRS Treasury Dept from officer Judy Smith, that left a message stating there is a tax fraud case against me/us and I must call this number ASAP to avoid legal action(s).
This was a robo call and a message was left stating there is a tax fraud case against me/us and I must call this number ASAP to avoid legal action(s). At least it wasn't graphic with details like I have read some callers reporting. I knew it smelled like a scam, so I did a reverse directory check. I am blocking this number. If the IRS wants me, they can send me certified/registered mail. I just wish I had been home to take the call. I love giving these folks a piece of my mind.
robo call claiming to be US Treasury. Said a prior tax return was incorrect - I owed a lot of $$. If i didn't return call in 1 hours a police officer would arrest me. Curious, so I returned call from another phone and # was answered as: IRS Office, called again & answered as: IRS, called again & answered as: US Treasury, then # was just busy signal. TOTAL SCAM
