Who called from 2102098524

Thank god for you guys and google.  I almost sent this scammer my cell number to call me.

I got the exact same email as everyone else in regards to a couple of listings that I had on CL.  My response to "Larry" is listed below:

Good Morning Larry-

I appreciate the offer to mail a check, however I am accepting cash
only.  I am a private party and not able to cover a bounced check if
it should happen.  I hope you understand.  If you are still
interested, your secretary can reach me at home at xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Thank you for you understanding,

Heather

Got the same email word for word for a posting I had on the Dallas area craigslist.  Thanks for this site!  The  email was [email protected], with the 210-209-8524 phone number in it.  They must have hoped I would call that number, but I didn't.

I too received the same exact email word for word. Was suspicious so thought I'd look up the email addresses and see what I could find. Glad I did, looks like he is not someone to deal with.

I had two email addresses:

[email protected]  and [email protected]

The first message read:
Thank for the prompt response my secretary will  process  and mail a certified draft to cover the cost  as am completely satisfied with it.I will need the details of whom & where to mail the payment
1.Name to be on the check
2.Home address
3.Mobile # Preferably
Please note 'United Parcel Service' do not deliver to P.O.Box addresses and i will not be  mailing a draft to one.My mover will be coming over for the pick up right only after the payment as been delivered.Kindly delete the posting as am totally committed to buying from you to save cost,..Here is my relay phone # is  (210) 209-8524 am deaf and will receive your phone messages via email ,regards

I was also contacted by this person for an ad on Craigslist.  I was suspicious from the beginning because the email came from someone named Charles Woods for a breast pump.
