Text coming from same number 210 739 6929 trying to purchase auto we listed on Craig's list. Wanted me to sign up right away and he will get the money to us...very pushy so told him no pay pal seemed like a scam...looks like we just saves ourselves a very large loss!!!
Got almost exact contact from a Bryant Willison -supposedly from Lackland AFB with an actual Texas phone number:
281-624-2179. These creeps are getting sophisticated. His texts (no calling because he is at an AFB) contained the same elements of texts listed above. like this:
Thanks for the response, My name is Bryant Willison. I am buying it as a surprise to someone very dear to me and I want to keep it that way(AS A SURPRISE) after delivery day. I work with the military as a SDI 8T000 and am stationed in Lackland Air Force Base AFB LAFB San Antonio which makes it very hard for me to make phone calls but you can always text me. I don't need delivery- I have a Mover who will come for the pickup so please get back to me with more pics and also I will be making the payment via PayPal as that is the only payment option I can access from here.
When I asked for a pic of his ID so I could make out a bill of sale and title application....he refused...said he works in secure job area and isn't allowed to give that out.
