Who called from 2102393494

It would be useful data if across three years people have been connecting the dots between phone numbers used by the same fraud. But it's never made clear how that link is established when it appears the victim is redirected to a single phone number by an email reply. I would agree that comments should better articulate the reason for inclusion of so many non-matching numbers. I can only guess the crook provides another decoy number when victims respond.

Same email to craigslist add using the phone number 9177256711 and email [email protected]

@bigA
I got here because it was the same scam the scammer just happened to change their operating procedure.

Hope this helps dont fall for it.  PS if you are never sure, tell them you have a friend at the airforce base who can collect payment, they will quickly bow out confirming your suspicion.

If you search this number 9177256711, then how do you end up here?  Because I just did in both Yahoo and Google and this number thread simply does not come up.

I ended up here because I googled the gmail account. Glad I did, if he's not crooked he's sure looking like he is.

Well this is the problem.  Each number has its own thread.  So what happens is that people are simply posting anywhere they feel like and pretty soon the site is useless because the posts are all in the wrong threads.  If you received a call from the number at the top of the page, then your post belongs here.  If not, then it belongs in the number thread belonging to where you received a call from.
