I turned on anonymous call reject due to calls where no one said anything.
the next, got this one at the same time of day....shows unknown with this number - no message left- I think it is the same caller
I just got a call at 10:07 from Novatel telling me that my computer was sending out personal information over the internet that anyone could access my personal information. The lady told me to access the cmd box then enter assoc "I saw a number in there and she read it to me, I told her I think everyone more than likely sees that same number" So I told her I had to give Microsoft a call and check on it, and she hung up.
Ha Ha didn't fall off a turnip truck yesterday...
They try to get into your computer they say you have downloaded malicious software and they want you to give them access to you computer then they can get all you passwords
I kept them on the phone, and did a call trace - they want you to change your Windows Licence # so they can remotely control your computer & personal information. DO NOT give them any info.... I advised them that I just wasted 1`2 minutes of their time, as to not scam someone else ( the little part I could).
