Some woman in a call center that sounded Indian. She said she was from some diabetic research place or something along those lines and then asked if anyone in the household was diabetic. When I said no, she never responded, yet the line stayed active for another 30 seconds...this was the fourth time before 2:30 they had called, so i finally answered.
Got a call from this number today to a norwegian cell number. They claimed that they called from Luxembourg here in Europe, wanting to e-mail me some information regarding marketing research products. I guess this is because I've got my own firm sellind advertisements and graphic design services.
The caller was really persistant in trying to get me to tell him my e-mail adress and would not hang up even though I told him that I did not want anything neither for my company or for myself...
So, my advice; this is marketing attempted to be camoflaged as "interesting information". Phone-phissing of e-mail...
My iPhone thells me that this number belongs in Texas... how come they calles from Luxembourg then?
I have been getting calls from this number all day, but I have not answered any of them and they don't leaves message. I have tried calling them back and all I get is a fast busy signal. The call will not go through.
