you might as well register it with Walmart! The DNCL DOES NOT APPLY TO BUSINESSES OUTSIDE CANADA!!! This is a scam from a company called United Travel Services.
I have been harrassed by 210-280-8487 for months now. I am on the Canada national no call list.... unfortunately I havent been on it for the 30 days it states I need to be. Ok, so onto the important info.... I was pissed. based on the information I obtained from this site I called Verizon to obtain a phone # for MCImetro Access. after being transferred to 3 different departments I was finally flipped to a lady by the name of lisa who (of course) apologized profusely and spent the 5 minutes placing me on the MCI no call list. Lisa explained it may take between 6-10 days for their system to be completely updated, but encouraged me to call back should it continute past that deadline. So here is the number for all of you to call and harass them for a change; 1-877-285-7654 (lisa's department line).
I just tried this 1-877 # and there is now a message stating that this program has ended. They then direct you to another MCI #, 1-888-624-5622. But this is an auto attendent for MCI somewhere in Mexico. Once you get to a live person, they have no clue about this 210 #. They tell you to call the National Do Not Call List, and you have to be calling from the phone that you do not want called. As I wasn't at the time, I couldn't proceed. But I have a feeling that since this is a National Do Not Call program, it only works in the Excited States of America, and Canada would be considered International. This whole thing is very frustrating.
In the event that they gave me a 'bogus' # (877-285-7654) - here is the number that Verizon rep Brian gave to me to get a hold of MCI, please be advised you will most likely be transferred to another department as I was ( I obviously do not have an account with them so it was alot of pressing zeros to try to get past the voice prompts asking me for information I wouldnt have as I am not a client)
