Called me and asked for the owner of my business (self -employed).. wanted to set up a yellow pages entry so needed to confirm my number. When I said I'm not interested for the 4th time, she hung up.
Called asking for my diseased husband. Told her he passed on and she then said - "I said Mrs. ------" Asked why she was calling and she said something about diabetes. Told her I don't have that problem, and she hung up. And yes, could just about understand her accent!!
Just got a call like everyone else. She said she was from some Collection Agency in Washington, DC. I asked her how she can be in DC when the Caller ID said TX. She hung up. Tried calling back. "Call cannot be completed as dialed." I'm even on the "Do not call" list. Let's see if they call back. I'll threaten them with harrassment lawsuit.
these arab people that are doing this are scam artist they arent telemarketers or microsoft or the government 6 months ago i got a call from the same people saying i had a federal warrant for unpaid taxes which is ironic cuz ive never had a job or a bank account or any paper trail showing any type of income then i get another phone calls days later from same number saying they were they department of treasury and im eligible for a $7000 grant n they said all i would have to pay in the taxes on that money which they said was $300 but new york state taxes on 7000 would b well over that atleast 1000 anyway i went along with their [***] and asked how id recieve the money and they said i had to pay the tax first and then they would WESTERN UNION it to me!!!!! the US GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO WESTERN UNION 7000 TO ME REALLY????!!!! THIS MADE ME LAUGH. i that point i had enough i told them i knew what they were doing and they immediately hung up and today i recieved another call same number saying i have $7020 owed to me from fees taken out from my bank now they said it was a bank account using my husbands last name which i have not legally changed yet and i DONT HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT!! and when i cut them off and said listen ur wasting ur time im not giving u any info they insisted i did have a bank account lol they gave me some grant approval code and told me to call this number 509-643-4455 now if these fees that gathered up were from a bank why would a GRANT service be paying me back and not the bank i asked y do i need a grant approval number if i didnt apply for a grant and i could hold back my laughter and of course they hung up and i called the "grant service" number and ironic NO ANSWER! JUST RANG AND RANG AND RANG. SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!
